Cumbria Social Enterprise Partnership is supporting new and existing social enterprises in Barrow. Maybe you have an idea for a new community business that can make Barrow a better place and generate income for you and others in 2023?
There are 2 forms of support:
Enterprise readiness (3hr)
Who can benefit?: Anyone with an interest in creating their own social enterprise.
You will receive: Lunch, tea and coffee, one-to-one business advice, guidance, mentoring and training. This could include – support with funding applications, business plans, recruiting Directors, setting up new finance and admin systems, marketing (social media and websites support), community shares and investment, HR and employment, protecting your intellectual property, and market research.
Intensive (12 hr)
Who can benefit?: Existing social enterprises,.
You will receive: Lunch, tea and coffee, one-to-one business advice, guidance, mentoring and training. This could include – support with funding applications, improving governance, improving, internal finance and admin systems, marketing (social media and websites support), going Net Zero, community shares and investment, HR and employment, protecting your intellectual property, and market research.
